How to Delete Access IBM Partition:

1. Press F1 when start computer.

2. Get into BIOS Setting

3. Enter Security optition, Find IBM PreDesktop Area

4. Make Access IBM PreDesktop Area to be Disabled.

5. Right now, you would see the hide partition in disk management or any other parttion tools.

You can choose the version which you like when you install Win7. And it’s very simple to modify it..

First of all, you need make sure your WIN7 Ultimate version is Windows 7 RTM 7600.16385

1. Open Windows 7 RTM 7600.16385 ISO Image by Using UltraISO

2. Delete Soureces\ei.cfg

3. Save

4. Burn a new DVD

Finish…

to fix this problem is very easy.

It just because the DNS Setting is wrong. Just set it to an open DNS, like google’s DNS (8.8.8.8) or set the IP address as your router’s IP. something like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1

Then you’ll find there is no more Ads pages on search engine.

Like what we did as OFFICE 2003. There is a configeration file in OFFICE 2007. It’s called config.xml

This file is in the different folder by different version of OFFICE 2007

Professional Version: ProPlus.WW\Config.xml
Enterprise Version: Enterprise.WW\Config.xml

You can use notepad open Config.xml. Find a text which is showed below:

Changed to:

Just enter the correct serial number in place of “BCDFGHJKMPQRTVWXY2346789B”

So, How to make a NO-CDKEY-INPUT OFFICE 2003 Disc

It is easy actually. Open your OFFICE CD or ISO. Find Setup.ini ( Generally this file located in Office\Files\Setup\Setup.ini )

Find this code which is listed below:
[Options]
; The option section is used for specifying individual Installer Properties.
;USERNAME=Customer
;COMPANYNAME=my company
;INSTALLLOCATION=C:\Program Files\MyApp

Add a Code at the end of those codes.
PIDKEY=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX （XXX meas CDKEY，You don’t need “-” to link them )

for example,
PIDKEY=GWH28DGCMPP6RC46J4MT3HFDY

Then Save the file. Burn the disc or run setup.exe

You will see the office 2003 has been a no-cdkey-input office edition.

we know, check ip address is easy with ping command. However, how to check the domain in one IP address? It’s easy too. There are many sites providing service to check how many domain in the ip which we indicate.

1. Check the Domain’s IP address
in Command Prompt, you can use ping command to check the IP address.

by using the online tools which listed below, we can check how many domain exist in one IP.

Why do we need to know about this ?
We can see our IP neighbors in order to avoid some trouble. ex. some neighbors’ sites are illegle. then your ip address is forbidden to access.

Several days ago, there is a customer bring a computer to our store, he asked me to reinstall Windows XP. I did it. However, After copying the files, the systems restart, and it hints the error message that cannot find hal.dll

Error Message: Cannot Find \Windows\System32\hal.dll

Solution 1.
Put the Win XP disc in the CD-ROM, at this screen, then Press “R” to enter the “Recovery Console”

Then we need to copy the hal.dll from the I386 in the disc to windows\system32

Step1.

Del C:\windows\system32\hal.dll
expand X:\i386\halaacpi.dl_ C:\windows\system32\hal.dll
exit

PS: Attention, here C drive is the partition which you install XP, and X is your CD-ROM. If you are different from me, please change.

Here are some HAL description in I386, Generally, we use halaacpi.dl_

After restart, I still cannot find Hal.dll. It seems that I did a wrong way.

Solution 2.

Restart and Boot in DOS
Check the boot.ini, I found there is something wrong with this file. The multi is replace as signiture. Change it to multi(0). Save it. Then Restart. Finally, WinXP comes out!

PS: Boot.ini is read only. Before you change the boot.ini, you should remove the attribute with command “attrib”.

I recommand you guys to change it in ERD2005 or Other WinPE. Recovery Console is too difficult to use.

After you enter the PE, find boot.ini, change signiture to multi(0), you need to change two times. Then Save and restart.

Generally, The boot.ini content is:

Last time, I mentioned Vista has the same Password Leak as Windows 7, So It’s easier to remove Vista Password in Vista. Now let’s do it.

Either you forget the password or you just want to change other’s password, you can do it this way~

First you should have to enter DOS (You can enter dos by WinPE or NTFS FOR DOS)

cd WINDOWS\SYSTEM32

rename osk.exe oss.exe
copy cmd.exe osk.exe

Then, Restart your computer

When you enter the Welcome Screen, Click the Ease Access on the left Corner

Choose the Screen Type, Then OK

Then The dos windows should come out

net user ( to check the username)

net user username password (this password is a new password)

Then you have changed the password for Vista

I just found there is no similar article in the google. Haha, It seems that I was the first person who found this leak.

Although Windows 7 comes out, Microsoft didn’t pay attention at the loophole at the area of login. The same as Vista, through replace the Executable file of On-screen Keyboard osk.exe to cmd.exe. Anyone can change or remove User’s password from Win 7. 

First, you need a WinPE

Microsoft did some restriction when you change files in the folder WINDOWS, but it doesn’t work by using some tools.

First, You have to go to CMD Mode, Copy Osk.exe and Cmd.exe to somewhere.

For example, I install my WIN 7 in E drive, So I type like this:

copy e:\windows\system32\osk.exe e:\

copy e:\windows\system32\cmd.exe e:\

Because of Restriction, People cannot rename or delete osk.exe. ( If you delete or rename it, It hints Deny), So we need use some tool like unlocker to delete osk.exe forcibly. Then you can do what you want.

Copy e:\cmd.exe e:\windows\system32\osk.exe

After that, restart the computer.

At the Login Screen, Click Ease Access, Choose On-Screen Keyboard and Apply. Then you could see CMD comes out. We can change the password by using “Net user”

Net user user password

For example, my account name is ABC, then I want to change the password to 123456, So I type command in CMD

Net user ABC 123456

Right now, Close the CMD, you can type 123456 as password to login the WINDOWS 7.

Hope that can help those people who do not remember their password.

After Installing Windows 7, I found all drivers have been installed. However, You still need install driver again. Because there may some problems.

I found two problems when I didn’t install the drivers for my win 7.

Audio Driver
I have a hdmi-hdmi cable which is used to connect my TV, but i can not hear anything from my TV.
PS: I choose the ATI HDMI Output to be my default Device.

Video Card Driver
It is slow when the web page has some javascript effect. Such as Lightbox 2.

So, If you want to run your Win 7 Perfectly, You still need install the driver.

After download and install drivers, Problems have been solved.
